Reliable sources confirm that Kartik Aaryan has given the green signal to Luv Ranjan’s next, and it will go on the floors by the end of 2026. “Luv Ranjan has been keen to partner with Kartik Aaryan for quite some time now, and the two have been discussing a number of topics over the past 6 months. After several rounds of discussions, they have finally decided on an exciting idea that fits right into the world of the Punchnama franchise. Kartik has approved the script and they have been allotted dates tentatively starting from October through late 2026,” a source shared. Adding further that Kartik has also been looking forward to this reunion for a long time, as he believes that his guru gets the best out of him.
Luv Ranjan is also excited about it, as he is teaming up with his protege after a long gap, and is confident of making a big impact with the next one. “Luv Ranjan is doing what he loves best – making a romantic comedy. Earlier, he was planning to make an action film, but all those plans were dropped when he naturally gravitated towards a hilarious concept. He started developing it, and the role has become a perfect fit for Karthik’s image.”
