According to a report in 123 Telugu, fameToxic is still keen to keep its release date on June 4th. In recent weeks, there were rumors that the film might be postponed again. However, reports have rubbished these rumours, with the makers also planning to launch a huge promotional campaign led by Yash.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults Geethu is a period action thriller co-written and directed by Mohandas. Apart from Yash, the film stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in co-lead roles. The cast also includes Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari and many others in important roles.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be dubbed and released in six Indian languages ​​including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.

The music and background score is composed by Ravi Basrur. JJ Perry, known for his work on John Wick, choreographed some of the action sequences, while the Anbariyan duo handled select action parts.

For those unaware, a glimpse of Toxic was released on Yash’s birthday last month, introducing the rocking star’s character, Raya. The content displayed in the preview contained sensitive elements that generated significant discussion online.

Earlier this film was scheduled to release in theaters on March 19, 2026, but later it was postponed to June 4.

Yash was last seen in the lead role in KGF: Chapter 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action film achieved massive success in theaters and developed a cult-like following.

Looking ahead, the actor will also be seen in a Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will feature the Rocking Star as Ravana, while Sai Pallavi will play the role of Goddess Sita. The first installment of this two-part film franchise is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026.
