In a heartwarming turn of events, Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmira Shah have officially ended their long-running feud with his uncle Govinda and aunt Sunita Ahuja. The reunion came as a pleasant surprise when Sunita Ahuja appeared on the reality comedy-cooking show Laughter Chefs, marking the family’s first public reunion in years.

Speaking to the paparazzi after the shoot, Krishna expressed happiness over the unexpected development and admitted how important the moment was for him and Kashmira. He said, “Mami’s arrival was a huge surprise. Both of us had no idea. Thanks to her for agreeing. Whatever masala the media has created in the last 10-12 years – we set it on fire and today came together to put an end to it.”
Sunita Ahuja, in an emotional and candid statement, reflected on letting go of past grievances and embracing family bonds. She shared, “How long can I stay worried…after all, he is my son and she is my daughter-in-law…now they have kids too. What’s the point now? We will enjoy life. And time is unpredictable. No one knows what can happen tomorrow. We don’t even know whether we will wake up the next morning or not. Now that we have met, we will celebrate and have fun together.”
Adding her own trademark flair, Kashmira Shah made a sharp and unapologetic comment, saying, “To all the haters out there – shame on you.” Their statement immediately gained attention online, showing the couple’s confidence in moving forward from the controversy.
Krishna also praised Sunita’s presence on the show, calling her the “best guest” and revealing that she playfully roasted everyone on the set, including him. He said that he thoroughly enjoyed shooting the episode, making it a memorable experience both personally and professionally.
For those unaware, the rift reportedly started around 2016 when Govinda and Sunita appeared on a comedy show hosted by Kapil Sharma, which also featured Krishna. The couple reportedly did not like a joke made during the episode, leading to tension that grew over the years with indirect comments and public disagreements.
However, this recent reunion marks a clear closing of the chapter, with both sides choosing forgiveness rather than conflict. The family’s presence together not only delighted fans, but also conveyed a simple message – time can, indeed, heal even the deepest wounds.
