Jio Studios and Collective Studios Histriverse released the teaser of Krishna at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas
A first look at the film and Collective Artist Network’s AI platform were shown at Microsoft’s keynote at NAB, “Powering Intelligent Media; From AI Experimentation to Real-World Impact.” The Collective was highlighted as a leading frontier organization that is taking AI beyond experimentation in cinema into real, production-scale deployment. This technology is also on display at Microsoft’s NAB booth (West Hall, Booth W1731).
Krishna Represents a departure from traditional VFX- or animation-based filmmaking. Instead, it is built on an AI-native production pipeline, where technology is integrated into the core of the filmmaking process, from world-building and character systems to shot design and final output, while being guided by a director-led, cinematic approach to storytelling.
Even as the film explores scale and spectacle, there is a conscious emphasis on emotional authenticity, stillness, music and performances, ensuring that the story is felt as much as seen.
Powered by Gallery5’s proprietary workflow, the pipeline allows filmmakers to create large-format, dramatic content rooted in Indian history and culture, while expanding the boundaries of how films can be conceived and produced. Collective Artist Network runs its Gallery5 platform natively on Microsoft Azure, using Microsoft Foundry and advanced AI infrastructure to support end-to-end, production grade workflows across film, episodic and advertising content. By operating in a secure, enterprise cloud environment, Gallery5 puts the power back into the hands of creators, allowing filmmakers to use AI to meet their needs.
