A journalist named Charlie Cannon (Jack Reynor) and his wife Larissa (Lia Costa) are struggling with parenthood. But things take a turn for the worse when their young daughter goes missing, seemingly kidnapped by a mysterious woman known as the Sorceress (Hayat Kamili) while fleeing Egypt. Katie (Natalie Grace) is betrayed and does not return to her parents, who are worried because she is ill, and so 8 years pass with no trace of her.

The little child is kept alive inside a coffin as a sacrifice to a demon and cannot be brought back by anyone, including the authorities. However, in a fit of rage as The Mummy, Katie has cursed and killed her grandmother, possessing her siblings and threatening their lives.

His parents, initially helpless, eventually take it upon themselves to save their children. Charlie takes on the curse, ultimately freeing Katie and her siblings from it. However, he is now possessed by the evil power of Nasmaranian and is to be contained inside a coffin. In the end he is shown to have been imprisoned in a basement, although the monster is unable to take full control, so he can communicate with his family via Morse code. The family moves on with their lives, and Katie is also able to recover from this terrible ordeal.
