Parvathy Thiruvothu was recently seen in an exclusive interview with IHNS. During the conversation, the actress recalled her experiences working with actors like Mohanlal and Mammootty, and underlined why they are considered legends.
Parvathy Thiruvothu explains why Mohanlal and Mammootty are called legends
Speaking to IHNS, Parvathy Thiruvothu said, “I worked with Mohanlal a long time ago. I was 19; I’m 38 now. It’s been almost 20 years. Going back to who I was, he maintained his presence as an actor, and I was amazed by that. Also, Jagathy Sreekumar was there, and I only had one scene.”
The actress further added, “I didn’t even know at that time what I wanted to be as an actress and what this art was. I was a child in many ways and I understood that this was the quality I ultimately wanted as an actor. I’m proud to say that now, after 20 years, I’m at a place where I can switch in and out, keep those intuitions and look after my co-actors.”

“Even with Mammootty, it was the same experience. I mean, obviously, when these people go on a set and there’s a serious atmosphere there. Everyone goes silent and all. However, when they are in front of you, you have to forget that they are these giants. Otherwise, how will we work together, like if I’m looking at them in awe I have to act like slapping them. I love it when these so-called giants and superstars don’t have anything in the way of their art or work. Let me be a newcomer and we are equals in front of the camera,” she concluded.
For those unaware, Parvathy starred opposite Mohanlal in the film Flash, a psychological crime thriller directed by Siby Malayil. Additionally, she appeared opposite Mammootty in the film Puzhu, directed by Rathina, which was released in 2022.
