Toxic, starring Yash in the lead role, has postponed its release date once again after receiving a strong response at CinemaCon. The official update about the film was shared by the actor-producer on social media, where he called it an “opportunity” for a bigger global release.
Yash’s Toxic once again skips its release date
Taking to social media, fame Shared an update about the release date of Toxic. Although the new date has not been announced yet, the actor-producer has made it clear that the film will not release on June 4, 2026.
Sharing the update, Yash wrote, “There are the films that we make, and then there are the films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and seeing the tremendous global response reaffirms what we always believed, that this film deserves to reach its full potential around the world.”
He said, “Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to rearrange our release timeline. While we will not release on June 4 as previously announced, we will release it on a later, globally aligned date. Toxic will hit theaters worldwide soon.”
Yash mentioned that at a time when Indian cinema is finding its voice and stepping onto the global stage with such promise, each of them has a responsibility to raise the bar. He said that as an actor-producer, he sees this moment as an opportunity for the Indian film industry and everyone to do their part to ensure that his film reaches the world with the impact it was meant to have.
The actor concluded, “Through every step and every change, your support has been with me, and I hold it with deep gratitude. Some stories ask for patience. Some journeys demand it. We promise to give you a film to enjoy and celebrate – a film that will be a proud moment for Indian cinema.”
