Shahid Kapoor, one of the most famous actors of Hindi cinema, is gearing up for the release of Cocktail 2. Known for his phenomenal acting talent, the actor was in talks with Anees Bazmee for a comic film titled Ram Aur Shyam. But the film could not succeed due to reasons better known to the stakeholders.

But the latest news is that this combo may soon come together for the first time. According to reliable sources, Anees Bazmee is in talks with Shahid Kapoor for the sequel of his 2005 cult comedy No Entry. A source told IHNS, “Although Varun Dhawan is set to play one of the three lead characters, the makers have started talks with Shahid Kapoor. The actor has heard the basic idea and will soon narrate the complete story.”
The source further added that if Shahid agrees, this could be the first collaboration of two of the most talented actors of the last 2 decades – Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The dynamic shared by the two in the film will be similar to what Salman Khan and Aamir Khan shared in Andaz Apna Apna. “It’s No Entry but with a twist. Producer Boney Kapoor is trying to take things up a notch by bringing Varun and Shahid together.”
If everything goes as per plan, No Entry 2 will go on floors in late 2026 with a marathon schedule.
