The female lead road drama starring Patralekhaa and Maanvi Gagroo has now been titled ‘Heer Sara’. Earlier it was titled Heer Sara and Pondicherry. The release of the film has also been postponed till June 12. Earlier it was scheduled to release on May 29.

Directed by Karthik Chaudhary, Heer Sara Patralekha and Maanvi Gagroo star in the lead roles, with Arif Zakaria, Shweta Salve and Nishank Verma also playing important supporting roles. The film traces the emotional and transformative journey of two women who undergo personal struggles, societal expectations and emotional healing.
The makers decided to shorten the title after believing Heer Sara Felt sharper, more memorable and emotionally resonant. The revised title was also seen as more audience friendly and effective from a marketing perspective.
Following the response the recently released trailer received, the makers decided to push the release of the film with a new title for stronger promotion. Many collaborators and fans have shown keen interest in participating in the promotion of the film, prompting the team to take extra time to maximize reach and build momentum before the release. The producers felt that it would be wise to use the other two weeks to push the campaign around the film.
The recently released trailer gives a glimpse of a road-trip story centered around Heer and Sara, who embark on a motorcycle trip from Indore to Pondicherry in search of freedom, clarity and a new outlook on life.
