Alpha Will tell the origin story of a girl, played by Alia Bhatt, who has been raised since childhood to be an assassin! If this were true, it would mean that Alia is different from any character we have seen so far in the YRF spy universe and that makes things more interesting as she is not playing the role of a spy which YRF has given the audience with every film till now.

It was tiring to see yet another new spy coming out of the YRF spy universe. Alpha There was buzz that Aditya Chopra should now move away from what people have seen the YRF spy universe doing over the years. Maybe Alpha is that film.
“Alpha This is definitely a big turning point for the YRF spy universe,” a senior trade source familiar with the developments in the film told IHNS. ”It features a lead character who is a killer, not a detective that we have seen all the lead characters play before. For the first time, Aditya Chopra is giving us an original story that introduces a character that is more grey, more of an anti-hero in tonality. This is refreshing because otherwise it would be extremely boring for us to watch,” says the source.
The source further added, “It’s definitely going to give a shock value to us. It’s not a traditional approach to creating a hero, and it’s brave to even think about creating a female action character like this. It’s clearly an idea through a creative pivot and a much-needed addition to the universe that has made around Rs 3,269 crore so far.”
Alpha It also stars Sharvari along with Alia Bhatt. In this, Bobby Deol is the villain and Anil Kapoor is in the important role. Directed by Shiv Rawail of the global hit series The Railway Men fame, Alpha Set to release on July 10th, 2026!
