Recalling one such heartwarming moment from the sets, Vedant Sharma who plays Bantu shared how a simple gesture of comfort turned into an unforgettable memory for the team, “There was a moment with our choreographer, Vijay Ganguly sir, where he was getting very stressed about a big dance shoot scheduled for the next day. Seeing him so worried, I went to him, hugged him warmly from behind and consoled him. I told him Said, ‘It’s not even a problem, whatever we do in life.’ And many more. Don’t worry sir, everything will be done. He immediately breathed a huge sigh of relief.

The film’s long journey of almost two years of training, workshops and rehearsals transformed the cast into a close-knit unit. Sharing how the cast’s bond went far beyond the sets, Samvit Desai, who plays Karim, revealed that shooting for Sitare Zameen Par felt less like work and more like a joyous family celebration every day, “We were together for almost two years, playing basketball, doing workshops, celebrating birthdays and partying. It was like one big family. Everyone was very supportive, and there was absolutely no competition or jealousy between us. Even Our parents have also become great friends! Every day was a picnic. We were pampered and looked after very much. Thank you very much to Pawan and the entire team.

Recalling the excitement, chaos and friendship that made the trip unforgettable, Rishabh Jain, who played the role of Raju, shared one of his most memorable memories from the set, “My favorite moment was when we all wore our yellow jerseys. I couldn’t believe we were a real team, going into a huge basketball stadium and the crowd was cheering for us and the coach was just standing there! It felt surreal. Off-camera, we were always together in the vanity van, having a lot of fun, playing with toy guns, telling jokes, and pulling each other’s legs. I completely forgot about homesickness because these people truly became my magical family.

Speaking about the infectious energy and happiness that fills every day on the set, Naman Mishra, who plays Hargovind, shared how the experience became more than just shooting a film for him, “To be honest, it never felt like work. It was 100% pure fun, pure joy, a lot of happiness, love and so much excitement. I fell in love with basketball because it’s so intense.” Fast paced game, even though I was completely new to the game, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Arush Dutta, who is known for playing the role of Satbir, says, “The film is so relevant as if it is about our lives. Like the film, I also work and I also have no pity for anyone.”
