Television actress Sanchita Ugle, known for her work in popular shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya, has passed away at the age of 22. The incident took place on June 14 at his residence in Nalasopara East, Maharashtra. According to reports, the actress was found at her home in Sai Santoshi Building located in Achole village. Family members and local residents immediately took him to Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

According to an NDTV report, Vinod Bagh, assistant police inspector of Achole police station, while sharing details of the incident, confirmed that the authorities have started investigation.
Bagh said Sanchita had locked herself inside her bedroom and was later found hanging from the ceiling fan using a saree. It is believed that the incident occurred between 7 pm and 7:30 pm.
After getting information about the matter, policemen reached the residence and completed the necessary legal process. An investigation report was prepared before sending the body for post-mortem.
Based on the complaint of her father Machindra Ugle, the Achole police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under section 194 of the Indian Civil Defense Code (BNSS) on June 15.
Police officials said the exact circumstances of the incident were not yet known. Officials are currently investigating all possible angles and said further inquiries are underway.
The news has shocked the television industry and Sanchita’s fans, many of whom knew her through her performances on television and digital platforms.
Sanchita has made a consistent presence in the entertainment industry over the years. She gained recognition for playing the role of Dia Tandon in Zee TV’s long-running drama Kumkum Bhagya. She was also seen as Ruchita Jaitley in the family comedy-drama Wagle Ki Duniya.
The actress later played the lead role of Sukun in Dangal TV’s Dilwali Dulha Le Jayenge opposite Sorab Bedi.
