However, citing the current circumstances, Armaan announced that they have decided to postpone its launch until they feel the time is right.

Armaan shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) explaining his decision. He said, “Hello everyone, this next song of mine, ‘Gaya Kaam Se’, I have put my heart into it and it is going to be released on July 22, which is tomorrow, which is also my birthday. But right now things are not looking good and I think I want to wait a little more and give it to you when the time feels right and when we are in better circumstances. So yes, I hope you understand.”
This decision has come two days after videos of police lathicharge and use of tear gas on students protesting at Jantar Mantar went viral on social media. The incident prompted many members of the film fraternity to express their support towards the protesters, with Armaan also sharing a statement on the issue.
Expressing his views in a note, the singer wrote, “I do not claim to have all the answers, and I believe it is important to carefully consider every issue before speaking. But there are some values we must never forget. Students deserve fairness. Peaceful protests deserve respect. Empathy should never be conditional, and conversations should never be approached with indifference. Our country and its people deserve to be heard. Always.”
