In a post on Twitter, the actor expressed grief over the violence during the protests and urged that the movement remain focused on the concerns of students rather than becoming a political issue.

Sharing his thoughts, Salman wrote, “It was a peaceful movement. Very sad that it had to take a violent turn. My sympathies are with the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am happy to know and see that the children of our country have come together for a better education system, and their parents have supported them.”
The actor praised the students for raising their voices through peaceful means and said that their determination to reform the education system deserves appreciation. He wrote, “I really appreciate their attitude of studying hard and showing dedication, honesty and eagerness to study hard and build their own future and a better, educated India. This movement, this protest, is the right way to go about it and the students have done it peacefully. Very brave and courageous. Inspired and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.”

Salman also stressed that the issue should remain focused on students and education rather than political interests. He said, “This issue is between the students and the educational system. It should not be hijacked politically. The credit should go only to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them full support and make it a strong educational system. It is a win-win situation. Hope and pray for a positive decision. May God bless all of you who want to get educated.”
Call to make education India’s biggest priority
Concluding his message, the actor called for making education a national priority and encouraged greater emphasis on learning. Salman wrote, “Education should be the next trend and fashion and it should become trendy and more fashionable year after year, so that people from outside come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.”
Salman’s statement comes amid the “Chalo Sansad” march led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which has gained wide attention across the country. Many members of the film industry have also expressed their support for the students. Veteran actors Shabana Azmi and Prakash Raj joined the protest at Jantar Mantar, while Hanumankind, Diljit Dosanjh, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Anurag Kashyap, Sonu Sood, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Vir Das, Preity Zinta, Imran Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonakshi Sinha, Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari, Pa Ranjeet, Soha Ali Khan and Huma Celebrities like Qureshi have also expressed solidarity with the movement and called for accountability and education reforms.
