Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has recently courted fresh controversy over her comments on Gen Z protesters who took part in protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and several other cities. Responding to videos and social media posts from the protests, Kangana criticized the language used by some of the protesters and made several comments which have gained attention online.

The actor described the content of the protesters as “nausea-inducing” and questioned their upbringing, while also taking aim at a section of women who participated in the protests.

Sharing her thoughts on social media, Kangana said she was disturbed by the language and behavior seen in the videos of the protests: “I have never seen so much ugliness in one place in my life. These reels of Gen Z protests are nauseating. The way they speak and the kind of language they are using… I have never in my life seen everything so disturbing and so ugly all in one frame.”
Questioning the upbringing of the protesters, he wrote, “Oh, who is giving birth and raising them?”
Comments on protesters and women draw attention
Referring to the protesters who called themselves “cockroaches”, Kangana wrote: “India is a place of diverse beautiful people, wrapped in beauty and rooted in cultural sophistication. You call yourself cockroaches and also look/behave like them. There is no contradiction or contradiction there, just subjecting the world to your filth, trash and ugliness. I am horrified by these reels. I need some therapy, digital. “Needs detox.”
The actor also commented about the women participating in the protests and called them “so-called West Indian women”. He alleged that they “proudly flaunt their freedom to do drugs, drink alcohol and shamelessly live on their parents’ earnings.”
Kangana further wrote, “I call them Generation Gutter. Some of them have nothing to offer to the system. They are not good at studies. They are so ugly and corrupt that they can’t even become housewives.”
This is not the first time Kangana has spoken about the ongoing student protests. In earlier social media posts, he had questioned the methods adopted by the protesters and criticized attempts to put pressure on the government through street demonstrations.
