Aamir Khan gifts Gauri Spratt rare aquamarine ring ahead of Queen launch

Ahead of its official launch this May, QWEEN has got its first customer, Aamir Khan. The actor and filmmaker recently commissioned two special rings for Gauri Spratt, custom-made by Queen, India’s first self-discovered, 100% natural, experiential luxury jewelery brand, endorsed by Rosy Blue and Kashiki.

Aamir Khan has also joined QWEEN as a strategic investor, making it a personal gesture and a reflection of his belief in the brand. While celebrities often invest in brands or lend their name to them, it’s very rare for that investment to translate to such an intimate moment of personally shopping from the brand, a sign that signals Aamir’s genuine belief in QWEEN and its creations.

When Gauri Spratt was recently spotted wearing a striking aquamarine ring, the dazzling sea-blue gemstone immediately attracted attention for its unusual color and distinctive design. It was revealed that the piece was personally commissioned by Aamir Khan.

Instead of choosing one ring to represent that moment, Aamir Khan opted to create two different rings. This gesture reflects the belief that one feeling rarely defines love. Rather than capturing a relationship in a single symbol, the two rings express the balance of energies that co-exist within every bond. The rings feature an aquamarine and a ruby, these gemstones have been chosen not only for their beauty but also for their rarity and symbolism.

At the center of the aquamarine ring is a dazzling blue gemstone that is prized for its exceptional quality and rarity. Aquamarines of this size and purity represent less than 0.3% of stones discovered globally. Sourced from the depths of Brazil, the aquamarine is set in gold and surrounded by 40 natural diamonds that form a dazzling halo around the center stone. The piece was brought to life through over 363 hours of craftsmanship at QWEEN’s Mumbai factory, with 131 pairs of skilled hands contributing to the creation of the rings.

The second ring features a natural ruby sourced from Madagascar, known for producing some of the world’s most sought-after rubies, celebrated for the depth and natural intensity of their color. Less than 0.1% of rubies achieve this level of quality. The ruby is set in a prong setting and required over 812 hours of craftsmanship to complete. Together, the two gems express a powerful duality. Ruby symbolizes passion, intensity and enduring devotion, while aquamarine reflects clarity and emotional depth. Fire and water, two energies that often co-exist in every relationship.
