In view of the tragedy, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has re -released its 2019 directive, which prevents all Pakistani artists and technicians from participating in Indian entertainment projects. In a strong statement statement, FWICE “announced a blanket boycott on all Pakistani artists, singers and technicians participating in any Indian film or entertainment projects.” Further statement said, “Despite this ongoing instruction, we have been made aware of recent cooperation with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan for Hindi film. According to a report by NDTV, sources in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting have indicated that many cinema series are not ready to screen the film. Additionally, pressure from various entertainment bodies has allegedly motivated the Ministry to consider completely denying the permission for film release.
