According to a report in Mid-Day, a source revealed, “Elaborate sets will be erected at Madh Island, Golden Tobacco Studios and Film City in Goregaon. Created by production designer Sailesh Mhadik, the sets will feature night clubs, casinos and private jets. Ahmed and producer Firoz A Nadiadwala originally envisioned it as a glamorous song that shows how the rich live the good life. So Dubai would be the ideal location for it.” Waited for a month so that things got settled there, but when it did not happen, they changed the place.
Confirming the development, director Ahmed Khan shared insights on the revised plan and the scale of shooting now being done in Mumbai. “Producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala and I had envisioned it as a glamorous song that reflected how rich people live the good life. Dubai would have been an ideal location, and we waited for about a month for things to settle down there. However, when that didn’t happen, we decided to shift the shoot to Mumbai.”
She further added, “We will now be shooting the song in Mumbai. It’s a glamorous number with the entire cast and we are excited to bring this vision to life.” The song is scheduled to go on floors on April 15 and promises to be presented on a grand scale, with huge sets recreating the lavish backdrops usually associated with international locations.
