Akshay Khanna, Sunil Shetty to do cameo in Border 2? Here’s what we know!
border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and it brings together the new generation of actors. The film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in lead roles. According to reports, the makers have shot small scenes with Khanna, Shetty and Berry. Hopefully they will reprise their original characters in the sequel, even if those characters did not survive the first film.
A report in Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, “Since border 2 It is also set against the backdrop of the 1971 India–Pakistan War, with characters from the original film acting as his companions. Anurag and producer-writer Nidhi Dutta felt that bringing in the heroic characters from the 1997 war drama would make it a memorable experience. Therefore, he included this section. Characters from the old and new films will meet each other at an event before the 1971 war begins. It’s a great idea as it not only brings the father-son duo of Sunil and Ahaan on screen, but also reminds us of that much-loved film.”
