Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan renovated for Priyadarshan’s Hivan after 18 years

Bollywood heavyweight Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have officially started making films for their much awaited cooperation with experienced director Priyadarshan, marking a reunion after almost two decades. Production for Hindi thriller Hawan Kochi was officially kicked in Kerala today.

Akshay Kumar shared a rear visual video from the set, teasing his co-star and director and attracting fans with a playful exchange. In the video, Akshay is seen holding a clapperboard wearing “St.” T-shirt. Priyadarshan jokingly said that he should wear it instead “Hawan“Akshay replied,” You all know, he (Saif) should be Satan. This devil you know about and you do not know about this devil. ,

With the clip, Akshay wrote, “We are all hi hi.Hawan Today with my full favorite captain of the ship, @priyadarshan.official sir. Great to work with Saif after about 18 years. Let’s get haiwaniyat rolling !! ,

This marks his first on-screen reunion after his final outing. Taulter (2008), bring back the indifferent pair of Akshay and Saif. Hawan Priyadarshan’s acclaimed 2016 is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam thriller Opam,

Kajol, Bobby Deol and Einar Haradson are also included in Pivolell roles in collaboration with TheSpian Films produced by KVN Productions. Filming will be in Kochi, Ooty and Mumbai. The film is slapped for release in 2026.
