On Tuesday morning, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar took the X (East known as Twitter) to address a growing concern about AI-related materials. The actor posted an explanation about the video showing him in the role of Maharishi Valmiki, which has been widely shared on social media.

Akshay wrote in his Instagram stories, “I have recently appeared in some AI-actors of a film trailer, showing me in the role of Maharishi Valmiki. I want to clarify that all such videos are fake and have been made using AI.”
He further criticized media outlets to take such content without verification. “What is bad, some news channels decide to take them as ‘news’, even without verifying that they are real or converted. In today’s time, when the misleading material is being manipulated at a large speed through AI manipulating the AI, I honestly request the media houses to verify and report after certifying the information.”
