Allu Arjun ’42 Do’s and Don’ts’ controversy: Kaveri Barua says comment was made in ‘flow of conversation’

Allu Arjun has been at the center of a controversy involving a woman who claimed that the actor’s team gave her 42 noteworthy do’s and don’ts before meeting the star. While his side vehemently denied any such documents existed or were supplied to people who met him, he also warned of possible legal consequences for fake claims. Now, the woman concerned, Kaveri Barua, has issued an apology on her social media account and retracted her words.

Kaveri Barua withdraws her comment against Allu Arjun

On February 17, 2026, Kaveri Barua shared a note on her He shared that his words were wrong and not based on ‘any verified document or factual material’. He categorically denied receiving it, saying, “To be clear, no document containing the ’42 Dos and Don’ts’ was issued to me by Mr. Allu Arjun or anyone acting on his behalf. My comments were made during the conversation and should not have been presented as factual claims.”

He expressed regret over his comments and apologized, saying, “I am sincerely sorry for those statements and any misunderstanding or reputational damage they may have caused.” The woman withdrew her claims and shared that she has the utmost respect for the 43-year-old man and expressed regret for the inconvenience.

Earlier, during her appearance on the Acceptance Talks podcast, she had said, “Before we met him, we had a note with 42 do’s and don’ts. And he has a manager’s manager’s manager. They are very strict, like ‘Don’t look Sir in the eyes, don’t shake his hand’.”

The actor’s camp termed the comments as ‘baseless and untrue’ and stressed that he is always treated with ‘dignity and respect’. The Pushpa 2 star is yet to personally address the claims.
