Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk on Monday shared an emotional note about his family’s safety amid tensions in the UAE, revealing that his wife and 6-year-old daughter are currently in the country.

He wrote, “The situation in the UAE is weighing heavily on my heart. My wife and my 6-year-old daughter are there, and as a husband and father, it is impossible not to feel emotional and stressed at such times.”
Virk shared a conversation with his daughter that left him heartbroken. Quoting his words, she wrote, “‘Papa, if anything happens I will hide under my bed. I am a strong girl Papa, don’t worry’ is not what a father wants to hear.” He said every news update feels personal and that no matter how much power public figures project, they are ultimately family people.
The singer-actor also admitted that many other families are also facing similar fears. “My prayers are not just for my loved ones, but for everyone affected,” he said. Virk expressed concern and thanked the UAE authorities and government for their efforts to maintain security and stability. He said that from what he was told, officers were working tirelessly to ensure that residents remained safe and supported.
He concluded his message by praying for peace and stability, hoping that the difficult times will soon pass and families in the region will feel safe and protected.
