Anees Bazmee is all set to start shooting for his next film on January 20 in Mumbai. The blockbuster filmmaker opened up about the film starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in an interview with Avanti Films.

Anees Bazmee praised Akshay Kumar saying, “We love each other a lot. We haven’t worked for so many years. However, we kept bumping into each other and our bond remained intact. When I got the story of this film and realized that it would be suitable for Akshay ji, I contacted him. He loved the story. He is very excited about it. We will start shooting for the film on January 20.”
When asked if he had decided on a title for the film, he said, “No, we haven’t thought of a title yet.”
After this, Anees Bazmee praised producer Dil Raju and said, “He has been an old friend of mine. We were supposed to do a film with Shahid Kapoor. But for some reason it did not happen. Raju Bhai is a very good man and a reputed producer of the South. When our previous project did not get made, I had a wish that ‘one for these film So it has to be done’. When he approached me for this film, I told him, ‘Why not?’ And signed the film.”
There have been reports that this is a remake of the film sankrantiki vasthunam (2025). Anees Bazmee clarified, “Such rumors keep flying in the market. Till now, a lot has been said about me and my films. But I never give clarifications, because the truth eventually comes out. The story of our film (sankrantiki vasthunam). Also, Dil Raju Bhai is the producer of both the films. that’s all i can say Our film Is good. we have done the hard work”
Anees further added, “The film stars Akshay ji, Vidya ji, Raashi Khanna, Vijay Raaz, Zakir Hussain, Sayaji Shinde and others. Expect a lot of comedy, romance, action, songs etc.”
