Music Mestro R Rahman has addressed the recent criticisms directed by Playback singer Abhijit Bhattacharya, who accused the composer of replacing traditional musicians with computer-based technology. Today, in a clear interview with India Today, Rahman clarified his position and presented a glimpse in comprehensive music cooperation that continues to define his work.

Abhijeet claimed that Rahman’s priority for digital equipment has reduced a significant decrease in opportunities for old school musicians. In response, Rahman said that when he uses technology to streamline some aspects of the music-building process, it has never been at the cost of real music. Rahman said with the characteristics calm, “It is good to blame me for everything. I still love Abhijeet, and I will send him a cake. Also, this is his opinion, and nothing is wrong with being one.”
He expanded his efforts to support the musicians on a large scale. “I have recently established an orchestra with 60 women in Dubai. They are being employed every month and they are being paid insurance, health and everything. What I do in every film Chorus Or Ponyin selvanIt consists of 200–300 musicians, and some songs are working more than 100 people. I do not show or post photos with them, and thus no one knows about it. ,
Rahman insisted that live music remains central for his compositions, even computers are used as part of the creative process. “The more you refine in music, the more you start appreciating live music. Computer is used as an appliance and everything to design.
Rejecting the notion that technology replaces talent, Rahman made it clear that his intention was always to mix the best of the world during the cost-skilled. He said, “I can go to any manufacturer, I have worked to check how many musicians we get.”
