Blackmail, starring GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role, releases on the silver screens on September 12, 2025. After completing the theatrical release, the film is now all set for its OTT debut.
When and where to watch Blackmail
Blackmail is scheduled to release exclusively on OTT platform SunNXT and will start streaming from October 30, 2025. The official announcement was shared by the platform through its social media handles.

Blackmail is a crime thriller that revolves around the life of Mani, an employee of a pharmaceutical distribution company. On one fateful day, he discovers that his girlfriend Rekha is pregnant, a revelation that changes their world forever. While Rekha initially wanted to abort the child, Mani convinced her to keep the child, promising to take care of all financial responsibilities. The story also introduces Ashok, a family man whose daughter has been kidnapped, and Archana, a young woman who is being extorted by her former lover.
How their lives intertwine, leading to a chaotic cycle of blackmail and deception, forms the core of the story.

Blackmail stars GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role and also stars Srikanth, Teju Ashwini, Bindu Madhavi, Lingaa, Shaji Chen, Vettai Muthukumar, Radin Kingsley, Ramesh Thilak, Haripriya Isai and many more.
Written and directed by Mu Maran, the crime thriller was produced by Jayakkodi Amalraj under the banner of JDS Film Factory. The songs and background score of the film were composed by Sam CS.
Gokul Benoy handled the cinematography while San Lokesh handled the editing.
