Boney Kapoor confirmed the exit of Diljit Dosanj that due to a date clash from No Entry 2: “We have participated in good souls”
In a conversation with NDTV, Kapoor clarified that the reason for this was purely logical. “Yes, we have participated in good souls because the dates were not aligning with our needs; Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together,” he said.
Diljit, who was initially declared as one of the three along with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, faced a pack schedule, in which it was overlaps No entry 2Production timeline. This, together with his ongoing film commitments, left no window for them to accommodate the sequel.
Earlier, a report by Peepingmoon quoted a source as saying, “Diljit’s packed touring schedule was becoming a challenge for the No Entry Team. The film requires a comprehensive plan for its mass sequel, and unfortunately, Diljit’s dates may not just align. Looking at these obstacles, both sides have decided to have a customic form.”
Punjabi superstar continues to roam between cinema and international tourism. He recently wrapped his share Seema 2In which Varun Dhawan, Ahaan Shetty and Sunny Deol are also there. The film is scheduled to release on 26 January 2026.
