Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle completes one month in theaters at the Indian box office. Released on September 12, 2025, the Japanese anime collected Rs. Earned more than. Earning ₹83.10 crore in 31 days in India, it set new standards for future anime films.
Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle started its box office journey on a historic note. It further collected Rs. 62.9 crore in its opening week, followed by Rs. In the second week, it earned Rs 14.40 crore in front of the new release of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. Although its pace slowed down further, it continued to attract the audience. More money was earned from this. Earned 4.20 crores in the third week. And then, Rs. 1.10 crore in the fourth week, that too facing Kantara: Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. It has now completed its 5th weekend and has grossed Rs. 50 lakhs.
Based on the current trends, the film is now in its final stages. It will soon end its theatrical run in India. Considering the performance of the previous anime, it emerged as a sensational blockbuster in India. Its success has opened up a new market for Japanese anime. With franchises like One Piece, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and others, this is likely to pave the way for more Japanese anime to become a more regular fixture in Indian theatres.
