The OG of Pawan Kalyan (they call it OG) has taken an opening of banger at the box office. The action thriller, produced by Soujeeth, broke the RS 131 crore at the world box office, becoming the first opener and 15th Indian film by Pawan Kalyan to achieve this feat. What is interesting is that IG has established a record of all time in its national glimps, exceeding each previous version by a huge margin.

Co-star Emraan Hashmi and Priyanka Mohanan, the film also had solid first in the United States. He recovered USD 2.95 million in the first American paid, recording the 4th largest overviews of all time for a Telugu film. Actuating it only remained behind Pushpa 2, RRR and Kalki 2898 AD.
