Kantara: Chapter 1 (Hindi) earned Rs. Collected. Earned ₹4 crore on its second Wednesday, registering a decline of 33 percent from the discounted Tuesday. A drop in ticket prices on Wednesdays is a common thing after they return to normal. Compared to last Wednesday, the decline today is about 45 percent, which is a good hold. The second week for the Rishabh Shetty starrer earned Rs. has been estimated. 51-52 crores. Kantara: Chapter 1 grossed Rs. Has reached. Net figure of 150 crores today. It took 14 days to reach this figure. The film will soon surpass the lifetime earnings of Raid 2, Sitare Zameen Par and Housefull 5.
The legendary saga got off to a great start. On its first day, this number seemed like it would be a somewhat optimistic lifespan. However, the film has been trending much better since then, avoiding major declines on weekdays and earning decent collections on weekends or holidays, all due to its positive reception. The film is performing well. And now, it has a chance to reach Rs. 200 crore nett mark, it depends on how it performs after its Diwali 2025 releases – Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The way it’s stood so far, it’s not too optimistic to expect that to happen.
Kantara: Chapter 1 was expected to perform like other South Indian breakout sequels like Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2 and Pushpa 2. However, this did not happen. Still, what the Rishabh Shetty starrer has achieved so far is excellent, considering that it is a period drama with no star value. Its only plus was the Kantara brand.
