Backed by Dharma Productions, the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer is set to end its theatrical run under Rs. Net mark of 60 crores, approximately Rs. 57 – 58 crores, which is reasonable as the film received average audience buzz and released in a clash with the relatively bigger film, Kantara: Chapter 1. At one point, it was on track to end below Rs. 50 crore mark, which would be a disappointing end. Buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers on weekdays and holiday periods boosted its business and gave it some life.
Sadly, Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari will prove to be another failure for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see his perfect comeback at the box office.
