Prime Video has officially announced Season 2 of Call Me Bay, with a refreshed story and the addition of Shruti Haasan to the cast. Headlined by Ananya Panday, the series will continue to explore Bey’s life as she deals with fame, relationships and personal challenges. Bay is taking on a more prominent role in the new season as she gets her own news show on the air. While her professional life begins to take shape, her personal life becomes increasingly complicated. The story introduces new tensions as Bay finds herself torn between her returning ex-husband and her boss, leading to increased emotional conflict.

The series is directed by Colin D’Cunha, who also serves as executive producer along with Somen Mishra. The writing team includes Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair. The returning cast includes Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskaan Jaffrey, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
