The film is directed by Vivek Soni, known for projects like Meenakshi Sundareshwar And someone like you. moon my heart The film brings Ananya Panday and Lakshya together on screen for the first time, establishing the film as a young romantic story centered on an intense relationship.
Earlier, in 2024, Karan Johar had shared the first-look poster of the film and wrote, “We have Do Chaand who is ready to bring an intense and passionate love story like no other!!! Pyaar mein thoda pagal hona hi patta hai…Chaand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni.” The poster shows the lead pair in a romantic moment against a moonlit backdrop.
The film is Lakshya’s second theatrical release StrikeIn which she acted with Raghav Juyal. The actor also grabbed attention last year with his performance in Aryan Khan’s debut directorial series The Ba**ads of Bollywood.
