Gujarati comedy drama Chaniya Toli is the latest surprise at the box office. The film made Rs. Earned more than. 13.65 crore (total Rs 11 crore) in 10 days of its theatrical run at the Indian box office. This film, released after Diwali (21st October), is doing great business at the box office. Its performance remained strong on weekdays, proving how good content always finds an audience. The film made Rs. 80 lakh on its second Thursday, down 48 percent from last Thursday.
Due to the extended holidays of five to six days, Diwali is traditionally one of the most lucrative release periods in Gujarat.
