Chaniya Toli India Box Office: Great performance of Gujarati comedy film continues, earned Rs 13 crore in 10 days

Gujarati comedy drama Chaniya Toli is the latest surprise at the box office. The film made Rs. Earned more than. 13.65 crore (total Rs 11 crore) in 10 days of its theatrical run at the Indian box office. Almost all of it has come from his home state, while Maharashtra has contributed around Rs 1 crore. With such a strong trend at the box office, the film is set for a long and healthy run. The film has already emerged as a successful venture. Now it is ready to prove to be a blockbuster at the box office.

This film, released after Diwali (21st October), is doing great business at the box office. It started its theatrical run with Rs. 1.40 crore and since then the upward trend continued over the long weekend. Its performance remained strong on weekdays, proving how good content always finds an audience. The film made Rs. 80 lakh on its second Thursday, down 48 percent from last Thursday.

Due to the extended holidays of five to six days, Diwali is traditionally one of the most lucrative release periods in Gujarat. However, this window is usually dominated by major Hindi releases, forcing most Gujarati filmmakers to stay away from it. Chaniya Toli boldly broke that norm, and it paid off. On its first day, the film earned about one-third that of the Hindi film Thamma, but by the end of the weekend, it took the lead in the daily collections and is now performing well beyond that.
