The Konidela family has a lot to celebrate. Actor Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela welcomed the birth of their twins on January 31, 2026, grandfather Chiranjeevi announced on his social media handle. Now the Man Shankar Var Prasad Garu star has once again shared the first glimpse of the newborn babies on his X (formerly Twitter) account. They also announced the names of the children, introducing Shiva Ram Konidela and Anvira Devi Konidela to the world. The actor also sought blessings for the life journey of the new children.

Sharing the first glimpse of the naming ceremony of Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s newborn twins on his social media account, grandfather Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness. He wrote, “With immense joy and divine grace, we are happy to announce the beautiful names of our two little blessings.”
The photo showed the second-time parents with their new babies, as well as their first child, daughter Cline Cara Konidela, sitting on her father’s lap. Both sets of grandparents were seen celebrating the big moment, as Konidela Chiranjeevi and wife Surekha Konidela held the newborns in their arms, while Upasana’s parents Shobhana Kamineni and Anil Kamineni cheered the family on.

The Godfather star further talked about the origins of both the children’s names, and wrote how Shiv Ram is a ‘profound confluence of two eternal ideals’, with “Shiv” inspired by Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad and “Ram” inspired by Ram Charan. The boy’s name ‘symbolises the harmony between inner strength and responsible action.’
Meanwhile, they named the baby girl Anvira Devi, ‘a rare and powerful expression of the divine femininity.’ Here, Anveera Kanaka is inspired by the blessings of Goddess Durga, and reflects ‘grace, courage and unwavering strength’.
