Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up to hit the big screen for Sankranthi 2026 with his family comedy-drama film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu directed by Anil Ravipudi. Venkatesh Daggubati’s important role in the upcoming film has now been officially announced.

The makers wrote on their official social media handle, “A collaboration that has been dreamed of for generations, team #ManaShankarVaraPrasadGaru proudly welcomes Victory Venkatesh Garu for an extended cameo with megastar Chiranjeevi Garu. Get ready for TFI’s biggest family entertainer this Sankranthi 2026.”
Venkatesh expressed his happiness on sharing the screen with megastar Chiranjeevi in Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu after the Stalin actor shared the promo through his official handle.
He also mentioned that he is happy to work with his favorite director Anil Ravipudi once again, and said that the upcoming Sankranthi will be really special.

This upcoming film is a comedy-drama starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the cinematic venture is scheduled for Sankranthi 2026 release.
Recently, the makers released the first single Meesala Pilla sung by Udit Narayan and Shweta Mohan. The romantic number features both the megastar and Nayanthara, who are presumably playing a married couple.
Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh’s workfront
Apart from Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, Chiranjeevi is also expected to hit the silver screen with his fantasy film Vishvambhara in 2026. Directed by Mallidi Vashishtha, the film was initially scheduled to release on January 10, 2025, but has been postponed to summer 2026. The official release date has not been announced yet.
The upcoming film stars Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Aashika Ranganath, Surbhi Puranik, Esha Chawla and many others in lead roles.
Looking ahead, the Bhola Shankar actor also has projects with directors Bobby Kolli and Srikanth Odela.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh Daggubati is set to collaborate with director Trivikram Srinivas for a film tentatively titled Venky77 (or VenkateshXTrivikram).
