According to a report by The Economic Times, Rajinikanth confirmed that Jailler 2 will be published on June 12, 2026. The actor was spotted at Chennai airport after his return from a key shooting calendar to Kerala.
Speaking with media staff, the superstar said: “We plan to release prison 2 on June 12, 2026. The shooting went very well.” According to the current buzz, the suite will end the shooting by December 2025 or January 2026, which gives enough time for post-production.

Jourier 2 is a next action comedy in Tamil with Rajinikanth in the main role. The film is a suite of Jourier (2023), which was a massive blockbuster at the box office.
