In a picture posted on his social media, Deepika is seen shaking hands with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan in the film. The caption with the photo reads, “While filming Om Shanti Om, he taught me about 18 years ago that there was an experience of making a film, and the people you make it, they matter more than its success. I could not have more agreed and learn what I have done.
The post quickly attracted attention, her husband and fellow actor Ranveer Singh reacted with affectionate remarks, “Bestst Bestis.”
Deepika’s post tells about the official announcement of Vyjayant films Kalki 2898 AD. Sequel. After months of speculation, the production house took X (East Twitter) on Thursday, 18 September to confirm the news. His official note states, “It is officially announced that @deepikapadkonone #Kalki2898AD will not be part of the upcoming sequel. After carefully considering, we have decided to participate.”
The post explained on the decision, “Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish his future projects.”
This is not the first time that the actress’s professional options have made news. This incident has compared to exit Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s film Soul Back in May. Reports at that time suggested that his return was due to his demand for 8 hours of workday after embracing motherhood last year, as well as a profit-sharing section and reluctance to communicate in Telugu.
