Dharma Productions, the iconic film production house led by Karan Johar, has leased 5,500 sq ft office space at the Lotus Signature commercial complex located in the busy Andheri West area of ​​Mumbai. The lease agreement starts from a starting monthly rental of Rs 15 lakh and has been signed for a period of four years.

The newly leased office is on the eighth floor of the Lotus Signature Building and comes with modern infrastructure suitable for the company’s growing operational needs. The agreement includes a five per cent annual increase, which means the rent is expected to rise to Rs 17.36 lakh per month by the final year of the lease. During the entire lease period, Dharma Productions expects to pay an estimated total rent of approximately Rs 7.75 crore. Along with this, the company will pay a security deposit of Rs 1 crore and stamp duty of Rs 2.04 lakh.

Industry experts suggest that the move signals Dharma Productions’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence in Mumbai’s commercial real estate landscape. With the rapid expansion of the film industry hub in the Andheri West region, securing a premium office space at such a strategic location allows production houses to manage their operations more efficiently while remaining connected to the vibrant business ecosystem of the city.
