Dhurandhar Circuit Position: Ranveer Singh starrer tops Delhi UP, East Punjab and Mysore

Dhurandhar approx Rs. It is the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time in India with Rs. ₹770 crore nett collection in the box after six weeks of release. The film is nearing the end of its performance at the box office, although is still earning well. Today on its seventh Friday the film will collect more than Rs 10 crore. 1 crore nett, possibly Rs. Close to. 2 crores, which is absolutely amazing, and the journey of this film so far has been so… amazing.

Although the film is the top Hindi film of all time, it is not the top film in many Hindi circuits, where it is behind Pushpa 2 everywhere and a few other films in some circuits. It is the top film in both the two Hindi circuits, North India, Delhi-UP and East Punjab. In the largest circuit, Mumbai, it ranks third, behind even Chhava, although looking deeper at the sub-circuit level, it comes second in both the Mumbai-Pune belt and Gujarat, beating Pushpa 2 and Chhava respectively.

The film is lagging behind some other films in the eastern circuit. Moving south, it is the highest grossing film in most places, with a clean record in Mysore. In AP-Nizam, it tops in the actual southern part of that circuit i.e. APTS, but Chhawa comes on top in Marathwada due to record turnover. Defeating Chava remains a possibility there, he said. In Tamil Nadu-Kerala, Dhurandhar is on top in Tamil Nadu but is at fourth place in Kerala.

To its credit, the kind of film this was, which is expected to be urban-heavy, even finishing second behind Pushpa 2 in those Hindi circuits which have more small-centre appeal, is fantastic. Of course, this has happened because the film has done record business in the big centers of those circuits. Take Delhi-UP, for example. The film has defeated Pushpa 2 by a huge margin in cities like Delhi, Noida, Lucknow etc. In Noida, it is almost double that of Pushpa 2. However, Pushpa 2 starts performing better the smaller centers you go towards UP, but those centers are not big enough to compensate for the losses created in the metros. Similarly, in Rajasthan, though Dhurandhar is ahead in Jaipur, smaller centers in the rest of the circuit have canceled it out and pushed Pushpa ahead. This is the situation in almost all Hindi circuits.

This also shows the box office potential. If the top figures of all centers for a single film are put together, the result would be Rs. Will cross. 1000 crore nett. It will be interesting to see if Dhurandhar 2 can harness some of that potential, as with the sequel, the reach could theoretically be a bit wider. Then, of course, there will be Ramayan part one later this year.

The final circuit status of Dhurandhar is as follows:

Mumbai: 3rd behind Chhawa and Pushpa 2 (2nd behind Chhawa in Mumbai-Pune belt, 2nd behind Pushpa 2 in Gujarat)
Delhi-UP: First
