Social media platforms use this schedule to monitor individuals suspected to be associated with extremist or banned organisations. If Salman Khan’s name is indeed on the list, it will subject him to strict legal scrutiny, travel ban and ongoing government surveillance.

A notification dated October 16, 2025, in the name of a social media user Nasir Azeem has been circulated as evidence of the announcement. The document names Salman as the “Azad Balochistan Facilitator”; However, so far, no credible Pakistani media outlet or official government channel has confirmed the authenticity of the document, raising questions over the veracity of the claims.

The uproar began when Salman Khan, in a video clip from the Riyadh Forum, while discussing the impact of Indian films in the Middle East, remarked that there are people from “Balochistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan” in Saudi Arabia, appearing to mention Balochistan separately. At that time Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan were also present on the stage.

Salman’s statement was, “Right now, if you make a Hindi film and release it in Saudi Arabia, it will be a superhit. If you make a Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam film, it will do business worth hundreds of crores because a lot of people from other countries have come here. There are people from Balochistan, people from Afghanistan, people from Pakistan, everyone is working here.”

As things stand, Salman Khan has not publicly commented on the controversy, and the Balochistan government has not issued any official statement confirming his inclusion in the Fourth Schedule of Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act. The situation is constantly evolving, with observers waiting for official clarification.
