Do Deewane Sehar Mein starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur has taken its opening week at Rs. But finished. 5.90 crore nett. The film made Rs. 40 lakh on Thursday, remaining stable compared to the previous day. Although the holding is good, the damage has already been done as it is coming from low levels of collections.
Backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Do Deewane Sehar Mein should aim for a big jump in the second weekend as there are no significant releases. Although the film will have to face The Kerala Story 2, it doesn’t seem like a big problem as of now.
The romantic drama received positive reception, yet it did not receive the audience support it needed for a successful theatrical run. As per the current trends, the film is headed to end its entire theatrical run on a disappointing note.
