Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur’s film ‘Do Deewane Shehr Mein’ is releasing in theaters this Friday. The film, directed by Ravi Udayawar, sold over 10,000 tickets on the first day on the ticket-booking web portal, BookMyShow.
Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the romantic drama is looking for a low start. According to IHNS Predicts, the film is expected to open around Rs 20 crore. 50 lakh to Rs. 1.50 crores, with its accurate forecast being Rs. 1 crore.
The trailer and promo of Do Deewane Shehr Mein received positive response, but due to there being no star value attached to it, it is still not much talked about among the audience.
The fate of Do Deewane Shehr Mein largely depends on word of mouth and then audience support. If the film receives a positive response, it may see an immediate increase in sales. Apart from this, the film also needs strong audience support as even films with favorable response are struggling at the box office in today’s time.
Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur, the film is clashing with Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Assi’, which stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. However, both are small budget films with no expectations, so both can remain together at the box office. It will be interesting to see how both these films perform at the box office.
