Tamil film Dude recorded the best day at the box office yesterday, Monday, due to the Diwali holidays. The film grossed approximately Rs. Yesterday saw a huge surge in business in Tamil Nadu as the film grew by over 20 per cent compared to Sunday. The film came close to earning crores of rupees. 10 crore mark tomorrow. Since it was the weekend before Diwali, big centers like Chennai were still seeing good collections, but business was less in smaller centres. Yesterday, with these centers also coming on board, the film saw a huge surge. Areas like Madurai saw an increase of nearly 50 per cent since Sunday.
