Tamil film Dude did well on the next day of Diwali and collected Rs. Approximately 10.50 crores. This represents a 20 percent drop from Diwali, which is normal for this course. The holding was better in Tamil Nadu, which was down only 15 per cent from Monday.
The film’s five-day gross in India was Rs. Approximately Rs 59.50 crore. With more than Rs. 20 crores coming from overseas markets, with Malaysia making good weekday collections in the post-Diwali period, taking the worldwide box office collection to around Rs. 80 crores.

The film’s earning in Tamil Nadu is around Rs 10 crore. 40 crore in five days, surpassing Dragon’s first week numbers. Diwali holidays are over, but there will be some impact of festive demand today and Thursday also. First week around Rs. 45 crores. From there, the film’s target was Rs. 70 crore plus final and if it remains strong then it will probably surpass even Dragon.
The film is also doing good collections outside Tamil Nadu, although APTS probably could have done better from the beginning. The collections have declined sharply and at this rate, the film is going to finish below Dragon despite almost triple the opening day.
