Tamil film Dude had a very good second weekend at the Indian box office and collected Rs. About 10 crores. The decline in the first weekend was around 75 per cent, which was offset by the pre-Diwali impact. The biggest decline came in the Telugu states, where there was an 80 percent decline, but even Tamil Nadu saw a massive 70 percent decline.
The total box office collection was Rs. About 76.50 crores in India. Combined with Rs. ₹27 crore (US$3 million) from overseas markets, taking the worldwide total to Rs. With Rs 100 crore. Approximately Rs 103.50 crore.

The problems for the film became clear on Wednesday when its earnings took a huge dip after the Diwali holidays. Then it declined further on Thursday and ultimately things did not improve much over the weekend.
The film has earned Rs 5 crore. Till now about Rs 51 crore has been spent in Tamil Nadu. On Tuesday, it looked like the film might achieve the target of Rs 60 or even Rs 1 crore. 70 crores, but now reaching even Rs. 60 crores has been largely rejected. Still, these are good numbers for the artists involved. Riding on the WOM wave, Pradeep’s last two films were big hits. This film’s appreciation is not up to the level of those two, however, due to a good opening and holiday support, its box office numbers will be close to theirs, albeit lower.
