Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamita Baiju’s romantic action comedy Dude releases in theaters on October 17, 2025, coinciding with Diwali. The film, directed by Keertheeswaran, is now all set for its OTT premiere. Here are all the details.

The Dude is scheduled to start streaming on Netflix from November 14, 2025. Sharing the update, the makers wrote, “Ore Oru Dude, Orayiram Problems, Zero Solutions (One Dude, One Thousand Problems). Watch Dude on Netflix, streaming in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam from 14th November.”

As they spend time apart, Agan realizes that he also has feelings for Kural (Mamita Baiju). He goes to her father to discuss the marriage, who accepts their union and later professes his love for her. But things take a dramatic turn when it is revealed that Kural has fallen in love with Paari, a man from another caste, and is giving birth to his child.
Fearing that his father might harm him if he learns the truth, Agan steps in to help. He pretends to marry Kural and helps her escape abroad with her lover. How they manage this and how it changes Agan’s life forms the emotional center of the film.

Dude stars Pradeep and Mameetha Baiju in the lead roles, along with R. Sarathkumar, Hriday Aaron, Rohini, Aishwarya Sharma, Vinodini Vaidyanathan, Dravid Selvam, Baby Anaisha Malik and Neha Shetty and Satya have cameo roles.
Written and directed by Keertheeswaran in his directorial debut, the romantic comedy is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. It is done by Ravi Shankar. The film’s music and background score is composed by Sai Abhyankar, while Niketh Bommi handled the cinematography and Barath Vikraman served as editor.
