Emraan Hashmi recently opened up about the significance of his first big paycheck – a moment that not only marked his financial independence but also boosted his aspirations in Bollywood. Sharing the story with podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia, the actor recalled how his fourth film had earned him Rs 25 lakh, an amount he specifically targeted to buy his dream car, a Honda Accord.
Hashmi candidly revealed, “I got 25 lakhs and that was my fourth film. I did that film because I wanted to buy my Honda Accord. I bought it, and the first time I sat in it I crashed the car. I had gone to pick up my then girlfriend, now wife.” He further joked, “I believe that when you scratch a car for the first time, you start enjoying it.”
Fast forward to today, Emraan Hashmi’s passion for cars has grown even more. From his humble beginnings with a Honda Accord, the actor now boasts of a luxury fleet that includes some of India’s most coveted automobiles. Notably, after the success of Tiger 3, Hashmi made headlines by purchasing India’s most expensive Rolls Royce, worth Rs 12.25 crore, which underlines his evolution from dreaming of his first car to owning the epitome of ultimate luxury. He has also recently purchased a Range Rover LWB Autobiography.
On the professional front, Hashmi is currently seen in Haq alongside Yami Gautam Dhar; The film, released on November 7, 2025, has received positive reviews. His cinematic slate is busy with highly anticipated titles like Awarapan 2 (the sequel to his 2007 classic) and Goodachari 2, which promises that both his career and his car collection are on a steady upward trend.
