“Back home. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. It was very difficult to be in the situation we all were in. Truly God is blessing us to stay safe!” she wrote.

Recalling the sequence of events, Gupta revealed that the situation started when she was at the airport on Sunday, the 28th. “It started when I was at the airport on the 28th (Sunday). By 1 pm the airport was closed, there was chaos all around because none of us knew what happened. Then news of the missile attack started coming in and no one knew what would happen to us in the next minute. Strangers were consoling each other, everyone was calling their families back home,” she shared.

Several Indian celebrities are reportedly stuck in the UAE after tensions escalated, leading to security concerns and disruptions in parts of the Gulf region. According to reports, airports had to be temporarily closed after reports of missile and drone activity emerged.

Gupta said she was at Abu Dhabi airport when operations were halted. Praising the authorities, she said, “Here, I would like to mention that what I saw was the strength of a country which is the UAE. We were at the Abu Dhabi airport. The ground staff and airport security immediately sprang into action and remained calm the entire time, even though we were all in this situation together.”

The actor mentioned that he had not yet checked-in for his flight when the airport was closed, prompting him to return to his hotel in Abu Dhabi. “I hadn’t checked in myself yet, so I took a turn and headed back to my hotel in Abu Dhabi. The following are stories we heard firsthand from people we met at our hotel that night,” she wrote.

There was a sense of relief and gratitude in his post, with the actor acknowledging both the anxiety of the moment and the collective restraint displayed by officials and passengers.
