PVR Inox, India’s largest and most premium cinema, will release highly acclaimed Manipuri film Bong Directed by Lakshmipriya Devi in select cities and cinema in India on 19 September 2025. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment with chalkboard entertainment and appropriate paintings.

Directed and written by Lakshmipri Devi, Bong It had a world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, a historic milestone for Manipuri cinema. Since then, it has traveled to many prestigious film festivals, which are earning significant appreciation and winning several awards. The specialty of a liberal attire of both the professional and the first time, the film attains immense strength from this mixture-prepares into an authentic, living world.
